We wanted to find a swim vest as our children's life jackets were too buoyant and didn't really help them swim. It just kept them from sinking. My friend found these Speedo vest and they got good reviews but Swim2000 had the best prices.
They are light and fit well. They look pretty thin as if they won't help much but they do! I don't think they would be as good for complete beginners but if your child is very comfortable in the water or knows the basics, it definitely helps.
Since its not bulky, it doesn't get in their way. The smallest size could be a bit big for your 1.5 or 2 year old but we got it anyways. The 4 - 5 year old size fits very well. Our kids love it. |
